Role of Windows Explorer

Q10. What is the role of Windows Explorer in Windows operating system?

Ans. The Windows Explorer is a feature of Windows operating system that can be used to view the contents of a computer and network drives in a hierarchical structure.

Instead of opening drives and folders in separate windows, Windows Explorer lets one browse through them in a single window. The left side of the Windows Explorer contains the list of drives and folders on the computer and the right side displays the contents of a selected folder.
