Q26. Describe the stored-program concept and explain how it changed computer processing.

Ans. The idea of ‘stored program computer’ in which data and instructions are stored in ROM, memory contents are addressable and execution tales place in a sequential fashion. With this the operation became faster since the computer could rapidly access both the program and data.
